Getting to East Hampton
Airports:
For out of town guests, it's easiest to fly into JFK or LaGuardia, both of which are about a 2-hour drive from East Hampton, depending on traffic. Upon arrival, we suggest renting a car or arranging a car service. You can also look into flights to the Long Island MacArthur Airport in Islip, New York, which is about an hour drive from East Hampton.
Rental Cars:
Car rentals are a great option for those flying in from out of town or traveling from NYC. Please take traffic into account when heading out east.
Train (LIRR):
For those coming from NYC, there is an option to travel to East Hampton by train via the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) from either Penn Station or Grand Central Terminal.
Bus:
Another way to get from NYC to East Hampton "Hampton Jitney bus" and "Hampton Luxury Liner” which run regularly from a few pick-up points in NYC and stops directly in East Hampton.
Ferry:
You can arrive via ferry from select Rhode Island and Connecticut ports.
Please note that our wedding weekend falls on the same weekend as the U.S. Open Tournament, which will be hosted in South Hampton so we recommend leaving extra time for traveling on the roads to and from East Hampton.
Hotel Blocks
For your convenience, we have set up three hotel blocks for your consideration from June 19th - June 21st. Please see below:
Montauk Manor:
Rooms range from $389 - $711/night and there is a two-night minimum. If you would like to take advantage of our discounted rate, please book your rooms no later than March 17th, 2026 by calling 631-668-4400 and referencing the Douglass-Nihan Wedding Block.
Wavecrest Restort:
Rooms are $400/night and there is a two-night minimum. If you would like to take advantage of our discounted rate, please book your rooms no later than March 1st, 2026 by calling 631-668-2141 or booking online and referencing the Douglass-Nihan Wedding Block.
Roundtree Amagansett:
A more luxury option for those of you interested in treating yourself to a truly comfortable and beautiful weekend! Rooms range from $1,295 - $3,295/night. Most rooms sleep 2-4 guests but we've also held a 2-bedroom Main House that can sleep up to 6 guests, ideal for families or close friends to stay in. There is no cutoff date for these rooms, however we recommend booking ahead of our May 9th RSVP date so we can align transportation accordingly. To book at this location, please email Jennifer Ling at jennifer@theroundtreehotels.com or call 631-518-2515.
We will be providing shuttle transportation from each of these hotels. Additional transportation may be added pending RSVPs - we will be sending an email blast with shuttle information.
Additional Accommodations
Below are some additional recommendations for hotels in the East Hampton and surrounding areas that we suggest looking into for your weekend accommodations, should the hotel blocks not suffice. There are also plenty of Airbnb options for your consideration.
Please note that due to the U.S.Open taking place the same weekend, we highly recommend booking your accommodations sooner rather than later if at all possible in East Hampton or one of its hamlets (Amagansett, Montauk or Wainscott).
At this time we are only guaranteeing shuttles to pick up guests from each of our hotel blocks (Montauk Manor, Wavecrest Resort, Roundtree Amagansett) but may add transportation to and from another central hotel pending RSVPs. Please keep an eye out for an email blast from our wedding planner, Carly, with the shuttle schedule in the month prior to the wedding weekend. In the meantime, please plan to either drive or Uber if you book from one of these locations and be sure to leave with plenty of time in the event of traffic.
